Reference: Loan Agreement between the Saudi Fund for Development and the Republic of Uzbekistan (UZB-4/588)

1. The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Saudi Fund for Development (“Fund”) toward the cost of “Construction and Equipping Specialized Scientific Medical Centers with Modern Medical Equipment Project”, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for Procurement of specialized medical equipment for republican specialized scientific medical centers (UZB-4/588/ICB/02) .

2. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply of the following equipment:

Bidders may bid for any or all Lots. A Bid for a particular lot must contain all items of the lot and 100% of the required quanitites for each item of the lot. Bids will be evaluated and contracts will be awarded on Lot-by-Lot basis.

Qualification requirements include: technical capacity, financial capacity, experience and technical compliance. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Document.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the “ Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods and Contracting for the Execution of Works” of the Development Institutions Members of the Coordination Group and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in these Guidelines.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information by phone number and/or email address indicated below from 10.00 to 17.00 hours (Tashkent time).

5. An electronic complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders upon submission of a written request to the email address indicated below. The request shall include the project name, ICB No: UZB-4/588/ICB/02, full name, country of origin, and address of the interested Bidder.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 15:00 (Tashkent time), February 12, 2019. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of the amount not less than 2% and not more than 5% of the value of the bid proposal. The bid price shall be US dollars.

Late bids will be rejected. Bids in electronic form will not be accepted. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at15:10 (Tashkent time) February 12, 2019.
